By creating an account, buying a ticket, or using tikk.at - including a tikk.at checkout opened from an organiser’s own website - you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you don’t accept them, don’t use the platform.
tikk.at is a technology platform that lists events, collects payment, and issues and delivers tickets.
Events are conceived, priced, promoted, staffed and delivered by independent event organisers. We are not the organiser, promoter, venue, performer, or employer of anyone at the event. We do not control whether an event happens, when it happens, what it contains, or how it is run.
Your contract to attend the event is with the organiser. Your contract with us is for ticketing.
We act as the organiser’s limited agent for collecting payment. Payments are collected through Razorpay and settled to the organiser.
The ticket price is set by the organiser.
We charge a convenience fee for our ticketing service. It varies by event and by sales channel. The ticket price, the convenience fee, any payment charges and applicable GST are all displayed to you before you pay. The total shown at checkout is the total you pay.
Where a discount code applies, the discount is funded by the organiser and reduces the ticket price. Our convenience fee is calculated on the undiscounted ticket price.
The convenience fee is non-refundable in all circumstances, including where an event is cancelled. The same applies to payment gateway charges and taxes on those fees.
We issue an invoice for our own fees. Tax invoices for the ticket itself are issued by the organiser, not by us.
Where the platform allows it, you may transfer a ticket to another tikk.at user, or split a multi-ticket order into separate codes. When you do:
You may not resell a ticket for more than you paid, auction it, or buy tickets for the purpose of resale, without the organiser’s written permission. You may not use bots, scripts or automated tools to buy tickets. Tickets obtained or dealt with in breach of this may be cancelled without refund.
Complimentary passes issued by an organiser or by us are subject to these terms, carry no monetary value, are not refundable or exchangeable, and may be revoked at any time before the event.
Joining a waitlist is not a booking and gives you no right to a ticket. If a ticket becomes available you may be offered it for a limited period. The price at the time of the offer applies.
Entry rules, age limits, dress code, prohibited items, security and bag checks, photography, alcohol service, re-entry and timings are set by the organiser and the venue. We publish what the organiser gives us.
The organiser may refuse entry or remove you for breaching those rules. Any refund in that situation is a matter between you and the organiser.
You attend at your own risk. Safety, crowd management, permits, licences, insurance and everything else at the venue are the organiser’s responsibility.
The organiser may change the line-up, timing, venue or format, or postpone or cancel the event. We pass on what the organiser tells us as soon as we have it, over WhatsApp, email or both. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and by the organiser’s own terms for that event.
Each event page may carry the organiser’s own terms. Those govern the event itself.
Where the organiser’s terms conflict with these terms on anything relating to the ticketing transaction - payment, fees, delivery, your account, or your personal data - these terms prevail. On anything relating to the event itself, the organiser’s terms prevail.
Where checkout opens from an organiser’s website, the transaction takes place with tikk.at and these terms and our Privacy Policy apply, alongside the organiser’s own event terms.
The organiser’s website, its content, claims, pricing displays, cookies and tracking tools are the organiser’s responsibility, not ours. The organiser’s website may be notified that a purchase was completed.
Use the platform unlawfully; impersonate anyone; upload anything defamatory, obscene, infringing, or harmful to a child; probe or interfere with security; scrape, frame or reverse-engineer the platform; use it to resell or tout; raise false refund or chargeback claims; or use another person’s payment instrument without authority.
The tikk.at name, logo, software, design and content belong to us. Event artwork and descriptions belong to the organiser. Nothing in these terms transfers any rights to you.
The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
You indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse or transfer of a ticket, or your violation of law or a third party’s rights.
Neither party is liable for failure caused by events beyond reasonable control - natural disaster, epidemic, war, riot, terrorism, government order, strike, or failure of power or telecommunications networks.
Write to support@tikk.at with your order number. We acknowledge within 48 hours with a ticket number and resolve within 30 days.
